Concert Volunteer
Want to play a key role in our 50th anniversary season? Become a volunteer!
Volunteers help make sure that all our summer concerts run smoothly—from greeting and directing patrons, collecting tickets, and distributing program books to ushering guests to their seats, assisting members of the Ticket Office, and more. Plus, they watch any concert they work for free.
A volunteer’s time commitment begins one hour prior to the start of a performance, and scheduling is based on interest and availability. Options include volunteering for:
• Noon concerts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
• Evening concerts on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• Morning Youth Concerts on Mondays
Volunteers must be reliable and flexible; have good people skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to move efficiently for on-time performances; and be at least 16 years old. The support and commitment of our dedicated volunteers contributes significantly to the Festival’s success.
Scheduling starts in the spring and is completed by May. Additional openings may become available during the Festival season.
If you’d like to volunteer for the Festival, please apply online or contact our Volunteer Services Manager, Edna Reyes-Wilson, at volunteers@sfcmf.org.
