Kathleen Brauer, violin

BrauerViolinist Kathleen Brauer made her solo debut with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at the age of 15. She holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Yale University. Ms. Brauer has performed with numerous ensembles, including Rembrandt Chamber Players, Ensemble Modern, Fulcrum Point New Music Project, and Pintele piano trio. She has participated in the Aspen, Norfolk, Bowdoin, Hampden-Sydney, and Kolkata International music festivals. Ms. Brauer is an associate concertmaster of Music of the Baroque chamber Orchestra and has been a featured soloist in several recent seasons. She is a member of the first violin sections of Lyric Opera of Chicago and The Santa Fe Opera.
