Christopher Stingle, trumpet

Christopher Stingle is currently principal trumpet with the Santa Fe and Sarasota Opera orchestras, as well as assistant principal trumpet with New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He has performed as guest principal trumpet with the Fort Worth Symphony and is an active substitute musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York Philharmonic.

Before graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music in 2009, where he studied with David Bilger, Stingle studied at Temple University with Jeffrey Curnow, as well as the Eastman School of Music with James Thompson.

Stingle is an adjunct professor of trumpet at Temple University in Philadelphia.
